Berkey accessories: use and compatibility by system
Berkey accessories allow you to adapt your filtration system to your daily use, improve comfort and ensure long-term maintenance. Each accessory has a specific role and compatibility depending on the Berkey system model used.
Taps with level control
These taps allow you to visualise the water level in the lower chamber of the Berkey system.
They come in two versions, a standard version and a stainless steel version that offer exactly the same function; the only difference concerns the material, design and price.

Taps (without level control)
These taps allow you to replace the original tap when it is worn, damaged or when you want to change material.
They do not include a water level reading and have no impact on filtration.
Two versions are available: standard or stainless steel. The function remains the same, only the material, aesthetics and price change.

The stands allow you to raise the system to make it easier to use the tap.

Priming accessories
These accessories facilitate the first commissioning of the filters.

Berkey PF-2 Filters
Berkey PF-2 filters are complementary filters designed to refine the filtration by targeting specific elements in the water.
They come in addition to the main filter, without ever replacing it.
→ Used only with an already installed main filter
→ Attach directly under the main filter and act after the main filtration
→ Respond to specific needs depending on water quality
→ Their use is optional and depends on your needs

Berkey Biofilm™ Drops
Berkey Biofilm Drops™ patented ionic solution to protect filters and stored water against biofilm formation.
→ Protect filters against microbiological growth
→ Reduce cleaning frequency
→ Keep water fresh and stable
→ Suitable for daily use and long-term storage
Use and dosage
→ 4 drops per 3.8 litres of water (daily use)
→ 10 ml per 210 litres of water (long-term storage)
→ Stored water must always be filtered before consumption
Berkey Maintenance Kit
The maintenance kit allows you to replace wear parts and maintain good system sealing over time.
→ Contains the necessary elements for system maintenance
→ Useful in case of wear or seal replacement
→ Compatible depending on the Berkey system model
→ Has no impact on filtration quality
Berkey Wing Nuts
Wing nuts are used to correctly secure the filters in the upper chamber of the system.
→ Ensure the hold and stability of the filters
→ Useful as a replacement or spare part
→ Compatible with Berkey filters
→ Do not affect water filtration
