The versatile Big Berkey® system is ideal for small families or emergency situations.
For everyday use, this system is suitable for 1 to 4 people.
Its pair of Black Berkey® purification elements offers a filtration capacity of approximately 22,700 litres before replacement.
The Big Berkey® system can hold up to 4 Black Berkey® purification elements.
BIG BERKEY® SYSTEM (8.5 LITRES)
The Big Berkey® system can be delivered with 2 or 4 Black Berkey® purification elements.
It is made of highly polished AISI 304 stainless steel.
Maximum filtration flow rate :
- Configured with two Black Berkey® purification elements, the Big Berkey® system can produce up to 13.3 litres per hour*.
- Configured with four Black Berkey® purification elements, the Big Berkey® system can produce up to 26.5 litres per hour*.
- Up to 4 fluoride and arsenic reduction elements PF-2™ can be installed in the lower tank if desired
* Flow rate calculated with the upper tank full. The flow rate decreases as the water level decreases.
